Best Apple Orchards in North Georgia

Fall in Georgia is a time of vibrant colors, cool breezes, and plenty of outdoor activities to celebrate the season. One of the most cherished fall traditions in Georgia is visiting the apple orchards in the North Georgia Mountains. This region offers a perfect escape to enjoy the cooler temperatures, scenic drives, and of course, delicious apples. Ellijay, in particular, is a hotspot for apple orchards, making it a prime destination for a fun and fruitful fall outing, and only about 30-45 minutes from Milton. Here are our favorites to check out:

Mercier Orchards (Blue Ridge)

You can pick your own apples, explore their farm store filled with fresh-baked pies and ciders, or take a tractor ride around the scenic property. This family-owned orchard is a must for a quintessential fall day out.
