4th of July is around the corner!
Come to downtown Crabapple to celebrate America's birthday with great company, fun festivities, and by joining in a special community walking parade.
The City of Milton's Independence Day event will start (at 10 a.m.) and end at Broadwell Pavilion (12615 Broadwell Road, Milton, GA). Things going on that day:
- Jump on a bouncy house
- Get their face painted
- Take home balloon animals
- Create "spin art," among other crafts
- Play in games or on the playground
- Enjoy complimentary popcorn, coffee, snacks, and cake pops (while supplies last)
- Earn awards for patriotically decorated people, pets and more
- Purchase treats from a Kona Ice truck
And that's just part of the fun. People are also encouraged to decorate themselves and, if they have one, their "vehicle" (think bikes, wagons or strollers) in red, white and blue then join the community as it parades around nearby neighborhoods. The "walking parade" -- which starts at 11 a.m. -- will last about 20 minutes before circling back to Broadwell Pavilion.
We will see you there!
